What is the age limit for EPS-TOPIK?
You must be at least 18 and not older than 39 — between 18 and 39 years old — counted on the date set in your country's notice (usually the first day of application). For example, Nepal's EPS-TOPIK 2026 notice required candidates to be born between 28 Jul 1986 and 27 Jul 2008.
Which countries can take EPS-TOPIK?
The 17 EPS sending countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Uzbekistan, Vietnam. You register through your own country's official sending agency.
Which date of birth should I use?
Use the date of birth printed in your passport. Your name, date of birth, gender and photo must match your passport exactly and usually cannot be corrected after registration.
Is there an education requirement for EPS-TOPIK?
HRD Korea does not set a minimum education level. The common requirements are the age limit, a valid passport, no serious criminal record, no deportation from Korea, no travel ban, less than 5 years on E-9/E-10 visas, and normal colour vision. Your sending agency's notice may add country-specific rules.
How much is the EPS-TOPIK fee?
US$28, or US$24 in the Philippines, paid in local currency when you register in person.
Does passing EPS-TOPIK guarantee a job in Korea?
No. Passing lets you continue to the skills test, medical check and job-seeker roster; an employer must still choose you. The pass is generally valid for two years.
